Re: What did you dream about tonight?
Last night I had this dream where I was in a world where physics didn't exist to a certain extent... heck, even stuff like basic geometry didn't exist. It resembled the digital world from that movie Tron a bit... just less structured for lack of a better word. I didn't walk, I just floated around... however, I didn't see any other people. I discussed this dream with a friend and he went "dude!" He's a bit more into psychology and the workings of the brain (as he studies psychology at uni) and he was like "your dream sounds like you had a DMT trip (it seems that with DMT most people have somewhat of the same hallucinations/dreams if they're trippin) right there... just without DMT... if you can get that without using that shit... that's creepy". Thinking about it... yes, it creeps me out, . Even more so cause he told me that the reason why that drug works the way it does, is because it sort of shuts some pieces of your brain down while boosting others.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I dreamed about taking a chemistry test, and it was really easy, which was nice. I had a chem test this morning, so it was reassuring, especially because I had a dream last week about doing a really really hard chem test that I couldn't finish!

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I had a dream about being at some girls place... (well, some cute girl I went out drinking something with last night, actually) but then she told me she had to leave for a few minutes... so while she was gone, her mom comes home and walks in and has nog clue who I am, nor what I was doing there. It got really awkward where I had to do my best to explain why I was there without anyone else being there and she thought I was some kind of burglar... Even if I tried... I couldn't make this stuff up,

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
(copy and pasted from somewhere else)
I dreamt last night that there was a Japanese style highschool in Stoke on Trent, and I applied to go because I wanted something to do and it looked fun. It was at the top of the road that my old Junior school is located, there was a big arched entrance and it looked like some kind of china town. Anyway the building of the school itself was massive and there were teenagers everywhere wearing school uniforms, they look quite similar to uniforms worn by anime characters with similar blazers, but the skirts were just plain grey ones and not those tartan things you get on the cartoons. On the first day we had no lessons and we all just got to know each other and learned our way around (not very true to life), I spent most of my time alone on the computer or walking through the corridors, at one point I sat in the dinner hall. Everyone there was either Japanese, Chinese, other eastern Asian nationalities and some "weaboos" and anime fans. I felt really out of place because I'm none of those things, and I actually felt like I shouldn't be there because I'm not from eastern Asia and I also thought the weaboos looked a bit stupid because they did up their hair like those Japanese girls that follow wacky fashion trends and they kept doing all that "kawaii!!" crap. But I still liked the novelty of there being a Japan themed highschool. But there was a problem, I was missing the freedom of not going to school and college and my usual daily activities had now totally changed and it upset me a bit. Also I joined the school on impulse and I didn't know if I could stay there for how many years and still enjoy it.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I had a dream last night about attending this weird event that was a sort of cross between an opera and a circus. There were trapeze artists who kept having accidents and falling and flying out at the audience and hurting people. The audience got outraged and everyone left just before intermission. I thought to myself, "I wonder if the sacred tradition of 'The Show Must Go On' will be upheld here," and when I went back into the room where the thing was being held, everyone was gone. If I had to think of something that the weird opera/circus thing reminded me of, it's the opening sequence from the anime film Robot Carnival, except it was indoors, had no robots, and was somewhat less destructive. (Skip to about 2:20 if you don't want to watch the whole thing and just want to see the part I'm talking about) Later on in the dream, I was at this outdoor buffet with pizza and lots of other Italian food. John Hodgman was there, and I told him "I hope she made lotsa spaghetti!" Happily, he understood the reference. BTW, did you know that this is where the word "weeaboo" comes from? http://www.pbfcomics.com/

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
Had a dream last night about being in this weird underground house where the walls were painted with lots of bright primary colors. There were lots of people around who seemed friendly, but there was something about them that I didn't quite trust. It felt sort of like being in a weird mash-up of Suspiria and Rosemary's Baby (go watch both of those if you haven't seen them).

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I've had a couple of interesting AS-related dreams in the past couple of days. In one, a therapist I was seeing for a while was telling me that there was a couple who were willing to show me their motorcycle who didn't fit typical ultra-macho biker stereotypes and who weren't "reactionary" (in other words, they wouldn't freak out because I was a bit "different"). I don't actually have any great fascination with motorcycles IRL and I don't think I would have much interest in anyone showing me their motorcycle unless it was a reasonably good replica of Kaneda's bike from the movie Akira, so I don't really know where that dream comes from.
In another dream, I ran into one of my English professors from college. He told a joke that I didn't quite understand, but I laughed at it anyway (something I'm not very likely to do in IRL). I saw my therapist (the same one from the other dream) and told her, "Someone told me a joke I didn't understand, but I laughed at it anyway! How neurotypical of me!" She told me something like, "Well, I think it's good if you can take the occasional good-natured jab at yourself."

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I've been playing Pokemon red all week (I found it in a closet...I know it's out dated ) and I ended up having a dream where the landscape and buildings and such were all in the style of the game, but 3D (that is to say, certain barriers were impassible, no matter how small; buildings were tangible but you couldn't walk behind them because it still followed the rules of 8 bit animation. Silly things like that). There was some kind of emergency in the dream, so I hopped on my bicycle (it appeared underneath me) and arrived suddenly in the next town. It was a very visually detailed dream, but it was pointless- no real plot, and I never found out what the emergency was.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
One of the dreams that stands out from the weird jumble of dreams that I had last night was seeing something on the news or somewhere else about actress Zooey Deschanel "coming out" as an aspie (for a few minutes after waking up, I wasn't sure if that really happened or not, which is always kind of a weird feeling). I think my brain made that connection because her sister plays a rather aspie-like character on the tv show Bones (which I've never really watched aside from a few minutes here and there). I actually think it would be kind of awesome if that actually happened; I don't think there are that many celebrities who are very open about having AS/HFA (I wouldn't be too surprised if there are a few who are who choose to keep that private).

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I just woke up from 2 strange dreams. In the first there was a man, and I knew he was a BEP (black-eyed people), despite not having seen his eyes. I was weary of him, but I wasn’t afraid. And that’s all I remember. Gar!
In the second my little brother and I entered a house and there was a young crazy woman and an equally crazy but old and slow man there. They tried to trap us, but I managed to escape by shoving the hag, but my little brother was squeezed under her. I still left him behind in there. and when I came out there were a lot of young people coming to our help. I told them how many hostiles were inside, and that my little brother also was in there. We secured the gates (there were three of them) to stop them from getting away. Then I woke up

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I had a dream where I was in a strange Anime drama (it kept switching between animated and live-action, which was sort of dizzying)...my sister and I were being interrogated by a mysterious (and handsome...I read shoujo ) detective, who was playing good-cop-bad-cop by feeding us delicious soup and then yelling at us. It was so confusing, and in the dream I was amused by it, which made everyone else angry at me. I wasn't exactly lucid dreaming, but I was aware of how ridiculous and unlikely it all was throughout the dream .

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
Okay, it wasn’t last night, but it is the last dream I remember.
I dreamt I had a pet sea turtle, ca 75 cm long. Lovely. I loved her so much I listened to some music that was related and then it was as if I was in the water, or like the room swam, it was weird and good and hard to describe... i hugged her, and felt the smooth shell. But I kept her in a room, not in water :S what was up with that?? @_@ I should know better than that, even in a dream maybe the music made her think she was in water too?
i dont expect myself to neglect a turtle's need. nor to keep an endangered species as a pet, or for that matter a species way too big to be a pet I expect more of dream me

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I dreamed that I had my own huge rubbish compactor and I was throwing stuff away into it. Including some plastic bottles that had been given to me by some children from a school called the "Own Turkey School". I had been to the local tip that day, but the rest of it was really odd.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I dreamt (about 2 days ago actually) I went to Disneyland with Kollide and Kasmanaft. They were dressed up in a suit and a fancy dress, and Alex curled her hair and was wearing pretty makeup, and suddenly they asked me to come with them because they could get me a cheap ticket. I didn't want to at first because I wasn't prepared, and because it seemed like they were on a date and I didn't want to bother them, but I decided to go anyway. Then we did some kind of Harry Potter related thing and there were other people I know.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I know I dreamt about something, but I don't remember a thing about it, which always bugs the hell out of me.
Does anyone here keep a dream journal? I used to for a while, but I gave it up when I felt like I was writing about basically the same things over and over.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I did at one point keep one when I was younger- but I never stuck with it. It did actually help me remember my dreams better somehow. But then again, as it turns out, a lot of my dreams are rather strange or screwed up somehow, so I didn't particularly find it rewarding to push myself into remembering them.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I have been having dreams fairly regularly that all end in something along the lines of: If I let my alarm clock go off, something bad will happen. On the most memorable night of this, I thought a bomb would be triggered by the sound of it if I didn't press the snooze button in time. I kept doing so (without fully waking) until I almost missed breakfast hour.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I dreamt that I, LSE MSc in Accounting and Finance, Texas PhD grad in Accounting and professor in Illinois, give a talk in the insurance industry about corporate social responsibility in accounting and finance officials. Then I give the next three lines,
'I was involved in Autism work in the past before I was an accountant. In the past, as in now (hopefully it won't be the case), people with autism were denied insurance coverage on the basis of their autism, and they can't lie to conceal it - which spells nothing less but discrimination, especially in countries with little social insurance. I feel the most basic responsibility of a firm is to give a client what he deserves, based on what he will need, from more background checks and more understanding and acceptance of these potentially great people.'

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
I had a disturbing dream . . .
In the dream people I used to be "friends" with would break into my place during the night while I was asleep and when I'd wake up I'd hear them in my place and tell them to get the fuck out. I didn't know exactly what they were doing in my place, but assumed they were stealing stuff.

I dreamed that I became a citizen of another country after a legal ceremony. I really love my land, this was, again, a nightmare.
But then, I gotta relax.

Re: What did you dream about tonight?
if it were me and IRL, it'd be my dream come true! I dreamt about saving sea turtles last night, but I can't recall any details other than something being off. But the day before, I had an interesting dream. Aillas invited us all to a party. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to go or not, as it might be nice to meet some of the other members here and I figured the atmosphere would be friendly, but then again, I’m not fond of parties. Then a person I think highly of (not a member here), said it was gonna be the party of the century. Realising that she was gonna come, I had to go. No way was I gonna miss out on meeting her! Woke up before the party though…
